We are looking for a Payroll Accountant for one of our clients in the Des Moines area.

The position is a temp to hire opportunity with a great company!!

Duties include processing bi weekly community payroll, maintaining employee payroll and personnel information, administering pay cards, maintaining federal and state payroll tax records. Responsibilities also include reconciling annual reports and preparing annual W-2's and general ledger.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with payroll and accounting experience. Knowledge of federal and multi state payroll laws and tax reporting are required. Oracle and Kronos are preferred as well as experience with payroll system conversions.
