Central Iowa Manufacturer is seeking ERP Analyst with prior work experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Navision ERP to be company's Super User.

Central Iowa manufacturer seeks ERP Analyst to document and maintain a "visual ERP map." Lead implementation of specific development initiatives including shop floor data collection and reporting as well as integration with ERP. Responsible for administering the database and developing processes policy and practices to ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities:

Work with internal customers to define and address their IT needs in relation to their responsibilities within the company.

Train the user community on how to use the various components of the IT systems and on solving common systems-related problems. Training to be accomplished through in house programs and third party resources.

Responsible for designing, developing, and writing the custom reports as dictated by business needs. Attend on-line and on-site courses in Navision and Jet.

Lead / oversee implementation of additional modules of the Navision software.

Lead / oversee implementation of specific development initiatives (e.g. shop floor data collection and reporting, EDI, Custom Jet reports, etc.)

Execute processes, policy and practices developed by management to ensure data integrity and security. This would include the maintenance of all back up procedures.

Manage third party IT providers, overseeing the quality, cost, delivery, and internal use of their services. These are helpdesk technical support, software developers and installers, and hardware vendors.

Develop, in conjunction with management and 3rd party providers, a disaster recovery plan.

Maintain system documentation.

Ensure all aspects of the technology platform (servers, networks, storage, licenses, voice/data) have the capacity to meet projected business needs. Develop, in collaboration with management, plans for the acquisition, disposition and inventorying of all hardware and software. Manage the execution of these plans. Develop annual technology budget (including 3rd party development and support costs).

Provide onsite, first response to trouble shooting of all time sensitive hardware, software, voice and data (e.g. email, EDI, VPN) communication issues. Engage and manage the problem resolution by 3rd party providers as necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Accounting

Prior working experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Navision ERP

Experience with IT Support including desktops and servers

Experience with shop floor data collection and reporting

EDI implementation experience preferred

Experience with "JET" report writing a plus
