Prep Time: 25 minutes plus refrigeration


Butterfingers Cheesecake


INGREDIENTS

Crust:

1/2 pkg Oreo Cookies

1/2 stick butter

Filling:

4 – 8oz cream cheese pkg, softened

1 envelope of gelatin

3/4 c. milk

1 Squirt caramel syrup

3 Butterfingers

1/2 container of cool whip

1 1/2 c. sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Crust:

Crush Oreos in plastic bag. Melt 1/2 stick of butter in microwave. Mix in Oreo's. Add to 9 inch spring form pan. Press Oreos into the 9 inch spring form pan.  I used some wax paper over the top of the Oreo's and a plastic cup to press oreos together. Set aside.

Filling:

Beat cream cheese, sugar and caramel syrup at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended. Heat milk for one minute in microwave. Take milk out and mix in the gelatin. Add  to cream cheese mixture and blend well. Add Cool Whip and Butterfinger bars to cream cheese beat until bars are broken up throughout the cream cheese.  Pour over crust.

Refrigerate until firm.  At least 4 hours.
